Wrapped In Red

Do you remember back in the fall when I shared my Wrapped in Red quilt?
Well, my friend Genny pieced a quilt from our pattern!
I LOVE Genny's version, for a few reasons, I love that she made the background (white fabric) scrappy. There's just something darling about that! I also love the red prints that she used. My Wrapped in Red quilt is all made from Christmas prints, love it for Christmas time but with the reds that she used this darling quilt can stay out all year long! LOVE it! :)
I machine quilted it for her. I did quilt it similar to mine, but mine has snowflakes and a few things that make it really wintery, so with hers I kept it more fresh, and I love how the quilting turned out.
Here is a close up shot of the back, I just love how the machine quilting stands out on the solid red.
Quilt pattern is Wrapped in Red by Natalia Bonner and Kathleen Whiting, it's available in American Patchwork and Quilting December 2011 issue. Available for purchase at Fat Quarter Shop.

I hope you're all having a great day, or week, time just seems to be flying by these days!
