My mom, Kathleen and I are so excited about the American Patchwork & Quilting 2013 calendar!
Why are we so excited?
I love this photo of the quilt, don't you think they did a fantastic job!
Because we designed, pieced & quilted this fun Limeade quilt and it's the August quilt!
When we found out it was going to be in August I think Kathleen was a little more than excited, her birthday is in August so it made her pretty proud! :)
In the calendar there is also this fall color option, so cute for fall!
The girls over at Seasons of Home have been very busy getting ready for Swiss Days. They've made these two darling Halloween quilts and have kits and patterns for them at the store.
When she brought it I said, wow, that's a cute boy quilt, then after a minute I realized she had made it from our Squared Inside and Out tutorial... duh! :)
I machine quilted this fun all over pattern, it actually really blended on the top but the back, she used blue minky and the quilting really pops! So cute!
Barbara brought it to me for some custom machine quilting, so I had fun quilting feathers and swirls and adding a little extra detail.
If you are in Utah you can pick up a kit for this darling quilt this weekend at Seasons of Home in Midway, UT. They are right next to all the Swiss Days madness. :)
Lissa made this darling Red and Cream scrappy quilt.
I love the pattern, it's so simple, yet so bold, I totally want to make this quilt for myself!
I machine quilted it for her, lots of feathers, I love feathers, and then I machine quilted a couple strips differently, just to add a little more interest.
Thanks for letting me machine quilt your darling quilt Lissa!
