Urban Chrundash- A Simple Sew-Along - Sewing the Four Patches

We're moving right along in the Urban Churndash Sew-Along, today (a few days early) we'll be putting together the center four patch blocks. You will need one of these units for each block, making a total of nine four patch units.
Fabrics needed for each block;
2- light blue 4 1/2" blocks (or green)
2- dark blue 4 1/2" blocks
Sew light and dark units together side by side. Make two of these units per block. Press toward the darker print.
Sew the two units together creating four patch blocks, make sure to butt your seams together. Make a total of 9 of these units.

I hope you're still having as much fun as I. I'm sharing my progress on Facebook & Instagram using #urbanchurndashsewalong. I hope you'll join in with me.

Also, if you're just joining in, make sure to check out the fabric requirements here and cutting instructions here and flying geese instructions here.

  1. Awesome! I am going to hopefully get caught up this weekend. Thanks for posting this before the weekend! Are you going to show us how to quilt it as well. That is the part I am most looking forward to!
