Grab a few of your favorite solid colors, cut your strips and begin sewing! This quilt is made from large pieces, so it sews together quickly. The block arrangement in this quilt creates a secondary block with a framed-square look. This would be an easy, yet interesting quilt for a beginner.
Can you believe that it's already Thursday again? This past week has just flown by, things have been very busy for me, but I'm not complaining, busy is good!
I'm excited again this week to introduce you to another one of our patterns from our new book; Cabin Fever: 20 Modern Log Cabin Quilts.
I love the bold, masculine feel of this quilt. However, if you wanted to use something similar to the alternate color-way that we've shared in the book it would be adorable in pinks and purples as well.
When I decided to photograph this quilt on my little boys bed he quickly had to join the party. He was really proud to point out all of the orange in his room, he really loves orange!
The quilt is large pieces so it sews together very quickly. The pattern is written with directions for three sizes:
Baby - 36"x36"
Throw - 60"x72"
Coverlet - 96"x96"
