It's Christmas in August! Really, though, the other day I saw a little note saying that Christmas is in like 18 weeks! This year has gone by so fast. I really can't believe it's already August.
I've been busy this week custom machine quilting some adorable quilts, and this one did not disappoint. Donna made this adorable quilt, again, like most of her quilts she's got some amazing hand applique.
Donna asked me to custom machine quilt this quilt for her. When I saw those big white borders I almost screamed with excitement. I just knew that some faux scallops would be the perfect fit for this Christmas quilt.
I love how the border turned out. I love that it adds just a little bit of extra detail to the quilt, even though the quilt is adorable enough without it. :)
