Mama Hen Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

Well hello everyone! I hope your 2019 is off to a great start! To be honest I've never felt like time was moving so quickly yet slowly at the same time. This year has been very different for our little family and because of that I haven't been able to spend as much time here on the blog as I would like to. I am feeling like things are starting to settle a bit and I'm hopeful that I'll be able to spend more time here. I really do love the blog and it's been a great resource, even for me, to look back at quilts I've quilted and find inspiration in my own quilting.

This darling Mama Hen quilt is one that I recently custom machine quilted and while I custom machine quilted it I did record a few videos, over the last year I've had a lot of fun creating and sharing videos of my work over on Patreon and YouTube. It's been a fun way for me to share a bit more of my process and when I've read the feedback from you all it's really motivated me to create and share even more.
For a more in depth look at my machine quilting check out my patreon page here.

I will have a sneak peek machine quilting video available for this fun quilt on YouTube on 3/11/2019
A full tutorial style video, sharing my machine quilting process will be available on Patreon on 3/1/2019.

  1. Do you use special lighting to make the texture show up so nicely when the quilt is still on the frame?
