Frequently Asked Questions
*Natalia has been machine quilting on a Gammill Premier Stitch Regulated machine since August of 2007.
*Turn around time is approximately three to six weeks.
*Natalia prefers to use Hobbs 80/20 batting but will use any other batting that you would like as long as it is a high quality batting.
*We do sell Hobbs 80/20 batting for $7.50 per yard.
*Pricing starts at 1.75 cents per square inch for all over type patterns. Custom quilting pricing starts at 3.5 cents per square inch and goes up to 6 cents per square inch depending on thread color changes and complexity of quilting desired.
*Quilt backings and batting must be 4" larger than the quilt top on all four sides. This allows for any stretching and room to properly attach the quilt backing to the machine. Please piece and press quilt backs before sending them. There is a $10 per seam charge if we piece the backing.
*We will trim away all excess backing and batting when machine quilting is completed. If you would like us to leave it untrimmed please specify when sending your quilt.
*All machine quilting is done with So Fine by Superior Threads.
**We do not bind quilts for customers**

You are just so talented!
I am really impressed!
I am a longarm quilter and I am trying to find longarm quilter friends. Are there any groups, similar to a quilt guild, for longarmers?
I would like to know how long the average custom quilt takes you to do? You do such beautiful work.
Should i add decorative buttons before or after the quilting? I would really like to not have them attached through the backing if i have a choice.
I would like to know what advice you could give a new long arm quilter, especially regarding feathers. I am in love with them, but I am having trouble recreating them freehand. Any resources you found more helpful than others? Thanks, and you do inspirational work. Hope I can get to this point some day. Merry Christmas! Cristy
Do you make up your own quilt stitches for the long arm? Are stitches computer designed or free-hand?
I am making a Quilt for my friend for her wedding. Hopefully I get it done with plenty of time. I would like to send it to you to machine quilt. How do I go about that?
