Paper Piecing

I hadn't ever paper pieced before and I am so happy that I learned. This month's friendship block was a paper pieced pine tree and it was so much fun. I think it turned out really cute too.

HMQS 2008

We are so excited for HMQS 2008! This year we have decided to design our own quilt for the show. This has been a very interesting process. The quilt has changed many times and I am so excited about the latest idea. Here are some pictures of our ideas. I will post a picture of the finished quilt in a couple of weeks, I'm so glad that we've taken these pictures along the way! First Idea; Black background with poppy's, really cute but we got a cuter idea! New Idea; red daisies! They look so happy!

The finished quilt will be so cute! Keep watching for more pictures!

Another New Book!

This past Saturday at the Utah Valley Long Arm Quilt Guild we won another book! "Quilt as Desired" by Pam Clarke. It is such a cute book with many fun block ideas. We are so excited to use it!!

Officially My Favorite Pantograph (for now:))

I quilted this quilt with my Paisley Playtime Pantograph. It is officially my favorite panto (for now). I think it turned out so cute! I love panto's because they make the back look as cute at the top!

HMQS Block

For the Utah Valley Long Arm Quilt Guild we pieced one block to be in our groups quilt. You had to use the Marie Osmond fabric and the theme is "Wrapped up in our Quilted Past." This is the block that we made. We think that it turned out really cute!
