An exciting concoction of yummy Jelly Rolls, delicious Charm Packs, sweet Layer Cakes and smokin' Fat Quarters all blended together to bake everything from bags to quilts to pillows.
A new book produced by 15 of the Moda Bake Shop "Chefs" is ready to hit bakeries this May. Grab your rolling pin and spatula as the creator of I'm Blushing, Itty Bitty Babies, Let Your Imagination Bloom and a few other recipes unveils a new quilt pattern just right for the tasting.
This cook book promises a few appetizers, a few entrees and even a few pieces of dessert.
For a chance to win some supplies for your own kitchen leave a comment, tell me what your favorite new Piece N Quilt pattern is. You will have an opportunity to win my favorite, a Jelly Roll, & your very own copy of Fresh Fabric Treats and one of my new patterns.
In the meantime enjoy some of my favorite White Chicken Chili
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
3 cans Great Northern Beans
24 oz chicken broth
2 cans green chilies
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 c sour cream
1/2 c whipped cream
1 lb chicken
1 c cheddar cheese
Cook chicken. Cut/dice into small pieces. Drain beans. Stir spices, chicken and beans into broth. Add sour cream, whipped cream and cheese. Simmer on low heat. Serve with warm rolls or tortilla chips.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteHard to pick any one favorite of your patterns. I love them all. I guess right now my favorite would be the Self Binding Receiving Blanket. I just finished making quite a few receiving blankets for two new grandchildren and wish I would have seen this pattern before I made all of the blankets that I have made. I am going to make this blanket today so I guess the babies will be getting more blankets.

Tough question, you know what a fan I am of yours. I think I would have to say, Funky wonderland. I've made two of that one. (one with brighter colors and one from darkers) White chicken soup sounds good for sub-zero weather. Thank you for sharing your talents.
