I shared a little sneak peak last week. That was when I had just begun the machine quilting on Kathleens quilt. The quilt is finished and should have arrived in the McCalls Quilting offices by now.
Before I show you the actual finished quilt I thought I'd share a little of the machine quilting detail.
The machine quilting took me 22 hours, there is over 3000 yards of thread, 2 different thread colors and it is 100% free motion quilting.
When Kathleen was finishing the quilt she added a beautiful piping. I thought that it finished the quilt off beautifully!
I *think* that she will let me share pictures of the entire quilt tomorrow!
Don't forget, if you live in Utah come and visit me this Saturday, January 8th 2-5pm. I will be presenting a trunk show / open house at Seasons of Home.
