Scrappy Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

Over the past few years I've custom machine quilted several gorgeous quilts for Donna. Her piecing and applique skills never disappoint.

This adorable scrappy quilt is another one of her beautiful quilts.

I met Donna several years ago and even though we live a few states away it's been fun to work together over the years. I love that she makes a variety of quilts and each time she sends me a new quilt she pretty much lets me be creative and quilt it as I see fit.

This quilt is pretty crisp, a lot of straight lines. I decided to add some softness, but still keep the quilt crisp and clean looking by combining straight line quilting and some curved quilting.

Around each of the blocks I machine quilted swirls, then I quilted straight lines in the sashing, with some point to point arcs in the block centers and the triangle border. I really love how this quilt turned out.

Thanks again for letting me quilt one of your beautiful quilts Donna.
