Jan made this gorgeous quilt and send it to me for some custom machine quilting. I knew right away that I could do some really cool custom quilting. I chose to quilt a fun pebble, swirl, clam combination pattern in most of the background (I teach how-to quilt all of those designs in my book; Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting).
I use my 4-N-1 machine quilting ruler to quilt some point to point ruler work on all of the prints, I also used to to machine quilt an echo line about 1/2" all the way around the outside of the print stars. I love quilting the echo line like this on the outside, I love that it really helps to set the background apart from the prints.

Beautifully done, Natalia!! You left one line unquilted, if I see that correctly. Was this at the request of your customer? It's always such a pleasure and so inspiring to see/read your quilting posts!!
