Sparkle - A Christmas Sew Along - The Quilt

Now that you've got your Sparkle quilt all complete it's time for machine quilting  and attaching the binding.
I've had so much fun making this quilt I hope you have too!
When it came time to machine quilt my quilt I decided to go with an all over, edge-to-edge pattern. I want this quilt to be used and loved in my home each Christmas so something all over will be perfect!

I used my new Urban Argyle pantograph pattern. I wanted to keep this quilt feeling crisp and modern.
I really love the way it tuned out. I layed it on my bed to take some pictures and I think I fell in love all over again! Is it a bad thing to have a Chrsitmas quilt in your bedroom?
Here is the full finished quilt, I generally don't make very many scrappy quilts but this one is just perfect with the scrappy prints! I love it and I really hope this is a quilt that can be loved for years to come.

Thank you all for sewing along with me. I've had so much fun, I have ideas to do another sew-along in the spring! I'll share details later.

If you're just joining along today, no worries! You can still make this adorable Sparkle quilt!

Make sure to share your progress over on instagram using #sparklexmassewalong

Since Christmas is such a busy time of year and I know it's hard to find time to sew for ourselves, I thought it would be fun to continue this sew-along through the year. Below I have sketched the quilt in a few different color-ways. I hope you find inspiration in them.

  1. Thank you for this fun pattern. I really want to get at it but my fabrics are in storage while we wait for a move. However, I look forward to working on the project in my new sewing room wherever that might be. Happy Holidays.
