Big News! My first "Pattern"

I mentioned back here that my first real pattern was coming out soon. Well it's real! December 2010 La Petite Ecole by French General for Moda fabrics will be available and I designed the project sheet for it!

I am a little excited about this!

 I've got it all pieced and as soon as I get the backing material I will quilt it and share more pictures! Isn't it beautiful fabric!

 Project sheets and kits will be available December 2010 @ Piece N Quilt!

These blocks are AMAZING!

When I signed up for this Christmas Bee group I had no idea how cute the blocks would turn out! Each day as the other ladies in the group post the pictures of my blocks on Flickr and their blogs I am more and more AMAZED and excited. I HAVE to share the most recent ones with you!

Kelly made me the two bocks above and they are adorable! You know that I LOVE words in my quilts so those words will be perfect!

I also love the borders on the pinwheel! Thanks Kelly!

Karrie made me this beautiful star block! I am so impressed with these blocks, they are SOOO much better than I had envisioned!

Paper Flowers

I've mentioned it a couple of times but Whitnee and I are trying out for So You Think You're Crafty.

I am so excited to announce that we've made it past week one with our Paper Flowers.

We stepped outside of our typical crafts and decided to work with paper. I think they were super fun to make and I can't wait to share the tutorial.

A few of you have suggested that I create a group over on Flickr for tutorial pics. I think it's a fabulous idea since I LOVE seeing what you make from our tutorials.

I've been quilting.

I feel like I've been out of the loop with my sewing and sharing. 

I've really been busy but I haven't really been able to share.

Here are the reasons.

We have one project in the So You Think You're Crafty contest.

I'll share this weeks project with you next week.

We've also been making our project for next week but can't share that one yet.

I had a fun play date at the park with my bloggy friends Amy and Vicki and all of our kids. It was fun to finally meet Vicki.

I've also quilted a few quilts that I think are just darling.

 This coins quilt is made using only scraps. I think it's a fabulous use of scraps and now I want to make one with all of my scraps!

I also quilted this darling quilt. She made this quilt from A Breath of Avignon Jelly Roll and Charm Pack.

AMAZING! I am so excited about this fun group! I asked the ladies to each make me a block of their choice and then I assigned them one block using Fruitcake! Today I logged into Flickr and saw this AMAZING star block that Cherie made for me. I LOVE it! Thank you so much ladies!

Fandango is sew cute!

 I quilted this darling quilt for one of my sweet customers, well she is actually my customers daughter and she is 13! I think she did an AMAZING job on this quilt. She made it as a gift for her grandma.
