Scrappy Flower Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

Okay, friends! Don't fall off your chair in shock, I'm actually back to blogging. I had no intentions of taking almost two weeks off, you know I'm generally pretty regular at updating the blog. The past two weeks have been a bit crazy for me.

I spent the last week in Wisconsin filming a couple of segments with Nancy Zieman, yes, I'm still pinching myself. I'm so honored that I was able to spend a couple of days with her. She is an amazing lady and truly inspired me to work harder and create more. I left there with a spark of excitement and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for me.

I'll share more details about the shows in the next couple of months.

I try not to get to personal around here but things have been crazy, an emotional month or so. Things are looking bright and I hope you all haven't given up on my lack of blogging, I promise I'll get back in my grove! :)

This adorable quilt on the blog today is one that I recently custom machine quilted for Donna. It's adorable, and like most of the quilts that Donna makes there is a lot of amazing hand applique work, you all know that I'm always so amazed by hand-applique.

I had fun machine quilting this quilt, I quilted a heavy background filler, full of pebbles, swirls and clams, you can find step by step directions for those patterns in my books; Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting and also Next Steps in Machine Quilting.

Thanks again for letting me machine quilt your gorgeous quilts Donna!
