Okay, friends! Don't fall off your chair in shock, I'm actually back to blogging. I had no intentions of taking almost two weeks off, you know I'm generally pretty regular at updating the blog. The past two weeks have been a bit crazy for me.
I'll share more details about the shows in the next couple of months.
I try not to get to personal around here but things have been crazy, an emotional month or so. Things are looking bright and I hope you all haven't given up on my lack of blogging, I promise I'll get back in my grove! :)
This adorable quilt on the blog today is one that I recently custom machine quilted for Donna. It's adorable, and like most of the quilts that Donna makes there is a lot of amazing hand applique work, you all know that I'm always so amazed by hand-applique.
I had fun machine quilting this quilt, I quilted a heavy background filler, full of pebbles, swirls and clams, you can find step by step directions for those patterns in my books; Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting and also Next Steps in Machine Quilting.
Thanks again for letting me machine quilt your gorgeous quilts Donna!
Her quilt IS adorable. Your work always makes everyone's work shine. Hope things are getting back to your normal. Every day's a new day!
