I just can't get enough of these Modern Building Blocks Quilts. A couple of weeks back I shared Jan's beautiful version of this quilt. Now, today I get to share Marilyn's! Each time that I've quilted this fun quilt I've custom machine quilted each one differently, honestly I think that if I were to quilt all of them the exact same I'd get bored. I love being creative and making each quilt unique.
When quilting this pattern I've tried to really add a lot of detail to the largest blocks. They seem to really draw your eye, and, with all of the negative space around them they really lend themselves to some cool custom machine quilting.
Thanks for letting me custom machine quilt your beautiful quilt Marilyn!
Check out these fun versions of this beautiful quilt that I've also machine quilted:

This is completely amazing! I have a kit to make this quilt. I need to get started! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilting. Can I ask what brand of rulers do you use? I am just starting out with a midarm and I am confused with so many different types of rulers.
