Red & White Pineapple Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

I recently custom machine quilted this beautiful red & white pineapple quilt for Daisy. Actually Daisy's dear friend Sharon pieced this quilt top and recently passed away. When Daisy was helping to go through Sharon's things they found this beautiful quilt top and Daisy sent it to me for some custom machine quilting.

The whole time I was machine quilting this quilt I felt like my heart was going to burst. The quilt is stunning and being able to finish it so that Sharon's art could live on just makes me so happy.

Because I really wanted the red pineapples to pop I chose to quilt heavy straight lines in all of the white, I love the modern combined with the traditional feathers.

The outside border is pretty small, I thought that feathers would be perfect but honestly I wasn't sure if I could make them fit in there and look good. So, I decided to try a small scallop feather with the help of my 4-N-1 Machine Quilting ruler and I think the outside border turned out just fabulous!

Thank you for letting me quilt this stunning quilt Daisy!
