More 90-Minute Quilts {Book Review & Giveaway}

More 90- Minute Quilts by Meryl Ann Butler is a fun, yet simple book.
The book features 20+ Quick and Easy Projects with Triangles and Squares. 
Perfect for a beginner.
Upon opening the book I was very impressed with a couple of things.
I love the clear illustrations. I am a visual person so all the images in this book are great!
Next thing I love is that it is spiral bound. I love that it lays flat. Makes the book very nice to work with.
The book also includes a lot of little tips. I think these are very helpful for everyone!
All in all I think it's a great book, very helpful to a beginner sewer.

    Oh wow I would love to win this book! I am not really a beginner but my Mom is; and she is definately a visual learner so this would be a perfect gift to her for Mother's day.     Love that this book is spiral-bound, too. A tip of my own: I take all my quilting books to a local office supply shop and have them spiral-bound. Makes them so easy to use, and they wear better because you're not constantly breaking the binding to keep them open. Also, I do the same with my Quilter's Travel Companion, AND I have them laminate the covers, too. This is a book that is used constantly over a 2-year period - well worth the investment to spiral bind it!

I think I'm beyond this book, but I would read it once through just to see if there are any great tips that could improve my technique or life then I would pass it on to a friend that I taught to quilt a few winters ago. She's stuck on the DNP pattern; that's the one I taught her..she's made at least FIVE of them! :)

    WOW, thanks,Natalia for the great review of my book! I'm glad you are all so excited - I am excited too - official release date is April 4th (you all have a sneak preview here!) To respond to a couple of comments: after you learn the methods, you can piece, quilt and bind the basic baby quilt in 90 minutes - I have stitched 5 in a day when doing community service projects! The largest quilt in the book is a large lap quilt (which i have on a twin bed) but once you learn the methods you can apply them to a larger quilt.
