Kathleen had the opportunity to take a trip home over the weekend. Generally when she takes a trip home (Boise, ID) lots of sewing is involved.
So would you be surprised to know that's exactly what took place this past weekend. Lots of sewing. Kathleen and Emmy (my grandma, Kathleens' mom) spent one day cutting out a quilt top for a friend.
She wanted to make our Daisy Delight quilt for herself so Kathleen starched all the fabrics, using our starch applique method, and grandma cut out all of the fabric. If I could just get the two of them to take pictures I'd be a happy girl right now.
So you'll have to use your imagination right now.
Turquoise for the large flower and yellows for the small flower. I can't wait to see it!
Daisy Delight pattern is available for purchase here.
Also, if you have made any project using any of our patterns our free tutorials we'd love to see it! Share a picture here in our flickr group!
Now head over to Amy's blog. She blogged about some quilts that I machine quilted for her!

I bought this pattern and was looking at it this weekend. Will you please tell me if the templates for the flowers include a seam allowance? Is it 1/4"? I'm so excited to pick out fabric and get started!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you,
