lovely pinwheel ;)
ReplyDeleteciao Maria
Natalia,
ReplyDeleteI am assuming that the size of each of the finished pin blocks is to be 4.5 inches. I'm having a hard time stitching the 4 triangle to the 4 cut-down blocks and still having the blocks measure 4.5 inches. What am I doing wrong?
Here's what I'm doing . . .
4-4.5 inch blocks;
trim 2 5/8 inch from one side of the blocks to the corner of the same side;
4-2 5/8 inch x 5 3/8 inch rectangles cut diagonally;
stitch the resulting triangles to the altered blocks along the trimmed side using a 1/4 inch seam.
I figured out last month's block . . . I don't know why I struggled; it was easy.
ReplyDeleteIs it time for the third block yet?
