HAPPY BIRTHDAY Piece N Quilt!! I sure do enjoy your website and blog! I'm so happy I ran into you! :o)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite post is actually a more recent one. I have a million and 2 pair of jeans that I've been collecting to make a quilt with. Due to the exhausting fact I was going to cut them up into matching sized squares, kept me from starting the quilt. Your Simply Denim Quilt Tutorial sure did change my enthusiasm (or lack of) getting the quilt started! Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas! And again, Happy Birthday Piece N Quilt!
Happy Birthday! I have been following you for a while now and love your blog! You are very talented and I like to see what you're going to do next! I like a lot of your tutorials but did end up trying the self-binding receiving blanket. I've made 2 now and they turned out sooo cute! One was a shower gift and she was so impressed with it! I would also like to try the Birdie Baby Quilt. I like the idea it only uses a charm pack! Keep up the great work and Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteorr20004@msn.com

ReplyDeleteCongratuatlions, PNQ! Y'all have so many wonderful tutorials-- but I think my favorite has been the Tranquil Baby Quilt, only because I've actually made that one now! (You can check it out at my blog: http://crafty-musings.blogspot.com/2009/12/tickertape-animals.html)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for all you do! :)
Happy birthday! I just learned of you in the fourth quarter of 2009 and I am so glad that I did. You've already quilted one quilt for me and I'm making more to send to you! I was inspired by a Figgy Pudding quilt I saw on your blog that had an "open" section with applique and am using that style for an Authentic quilt I'm working on (and will be sending to you next week!). The internet is so amazing for inspiration and I look forward to each and every post by all of the amazing and talented crafters our there.

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! My favorite tutorial is the 9 Birdie Baby quilt. I am always trying to figure out the pattern when I look at quilts. This one seemed difficult, but it turned out to be one of the easiest. I think that others would have sewn the blocks together after cutting into fourths, but you separated them with sashing which makes it striking yet relaxing on the eyes: A fabulous combination! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteAnd on a side note, I am so glad that you are able to send out the message about your cousin adopting—I hope their prayers are answered soon!
Happy one year online birthday!
ReplyDeleteI had a hard time deciding which was my favorite. I am going to go with the tranquil baby tutorial. I love the colors and it is not as hard as I first thought it would be. You are so talented. Good job on living your dream!

ReplyDeleteHappy B-day to your blog!! I love your tutorials, they always inspire me to create something. Gosh, picking a favorite blog is a hard one, but I would have to say the binding tute that you just posted is a God's send. I hate binding, probably cause I'm not confident doing any hand stitching, but the step by step tute has encouraged me to give it another try. I also like the blog about the other blogs you'll be following this year. It's always fun to blog hop and see what others are creating.
ReplyDeleteKeep the awesome work coming!!
