Welcome 2010 - 2009 Was a Year to Remember!

2009 was a year I will never forget.
Some of the highlights include...
Piecing over 40 quilts.
In January I launched Piece N Quilt online.
In February I taught my first and second classes. One in Heber, UT and one in St. George, UT.
In March my husband and I were able to take an all expenses paid Mexican Rivera Cruise.
I served as the Secretary/Treasurer for my local quilt guild.
In July, our quilt, Strut Your Stuff won Best of Show at A Small Town Quilt Show.
In August the same quilt won Judges choice at our local fair.
In September I got older!
I enjoyed a fun family vacation to Sand Hollow in Hurricane, UT.
In November my baby turned two.
In December I quilted one million quilts, okay maybe not that many but it seemed like it.
I machine quilted over 200 quilts.
Canning peaches for the first time.
In December I was able to share my first quilt on Moda Bake Shop.
I, along with Whitnee & Kathleen created 19 tutorials.
When I look back now I feel like I did actually accomplish quite a bit in 2009!

Now onto 2010.
Dear 2010 I am so happy that you are here. I don't think that I've ever been so excited for a new year. I know that you will bring many joys and I am so optimistic about you!
I have made a few goals for the year.
Some include.
Creating more tutorials.
Attend Quilt Market in Houston.
Purchase a new home.
Learn something new every day.
I would say weight loss but lets be realistic. It's not going to happen!
I've already had fun this morning reading over several blogs and reading everyones goals for the new year.
What are your goals? What did you accomplish in 2010? Do you have a suggestion for me for the new year?
What was your favorite thing that I blogged about in 2009?

  4. Awesome! You have been one busy chicka! I want to go to Quilt Market too - but with the baby and a move late spring - I don't think I'm going to make it. :)
