It is May 22, 2010 and we've got SNOW!

 Never in my life do I remember snow this late in the year,

my dad always tells me that he remembers a year that we got snow in July, WHAT!

Well, this morning we woke up to a skiff of snow.

How fitting,

Bloggers Quilt Festival

First of all, thank you Amy for hosting Bloggers Quilt Festival. I love being able to share my quilts and view so many other amazing quilts!

This time around my entry is "I'm Blushing."

 I named this quilt I'm Blushing for many reasons.

First, I was able to share this quilt tutorial over on Moda Bake shop. I am so honored by this.

Second, well it's made from Blush fabrics.

Third, I have been very honored a few times recently when some of you have made this quilt. It makes my day when I get a message telling me that you loved my idea enough to make the quilt for yourself.

In Honor of my Great Grandma.

A few months back I was asked to machine quilt this Alzheimer's Art Quilts. When I was asked I was very touched, my great grandma died a few years back from this disease. She was a great lady and I have very fond memories of her before Alzheimer's.

This quilt will be a part of a "From Heartbreak to Hope" exhibit. The profits that are raised by this exhibit will be used for research. There are 182 quilts like this one containing 55 names each.

I was able to add my Great Grandma's name to this quilt. I am so proud to be able to honor her.

Thanks for the opportunity to quilt this quilt.

It's Christmas in May!

My sweet customer Jamie pieced this darling Figgy Pudding quilt.

I love it.

If you look closely at the borders you can see the custom quilting, she is going to scallop the binding and I think it'll look fabulous!
