Here We Come A Caroling - A Christmas Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

How stinkin' cute is this Christmas quilt!
Rhonda designed and made this adorable quilt. It's actually an idea that she's had in her head for several years, she was just waiting for the perfect fabric, and this year she found it.

Rhonda made this fun quilt and brought it to me and asked me to custom machine quilt it for her.

I knew right away that this quilt need some fun background filler machine quilting, with a lot of outlining to really make her darling applique pop.

In the top, gray background I machine quilted some double pebbles, I teach step-by-step how-to quilt these in my book; Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting

In the snowy background, behind the carolers I machine quilted a straight line filler, this is a fun filler that I like to machine quilt in snow or even water.

In the gray background section I machine quilted pebbles. I love pebbles. I also teach how-to quilt these in my book; Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting

Then in the bottom section I machine quilted a fun swirly feather. I love this filler. It's so soft, yet always adds the perfect little pop of detail. I teach how-to quilt this pattern in my book; Next Steps in Machine Quilting.
I did create a little video of myself machine quilting the double pebbles. Please forgive the blurriness, I was holding my phone with my left hand while quilting, and trying to pay attention to my quilting with my right hand. :)

Thanks for letting me machine quilt this beautiful quilt Rhonda!
