Congratulations on your new book! I have a question...is your book more for quilters that have a long arm or a machine like (for example) a Babylock meant solely for top quitling? Or would this be of use to someone like me who just has a plain Jane machine? Thank you! I'd really like to buy the book, but I won't be buying a machine for top quilting any time soon!
Well, I am really excited to see the book in person. I am from little old Utah too. I kinda put it together with your last post about swiss days... I think you are from Utah? Anyway, I love your post and I think that the book is going to be fabulous. I have been following you for awhile and I am really inspired by your quilting. I am pretty boring when it comes to that part of the quilt. I want to do better so I definitely need to start with your book. I also would love to get a long-arm one day. Anyway, thanks for all your hard work and thought when it comes to sharing on your blog here with people every where. I completely appreciate it :)
I have been a follower of yours for a while and today Your book just arrived in the quilt shop that I work at. I have to tell you that it's one of the best books on FMQ that I have seen in a while. I teach free motion at our store and I will be using your book for my classes from now on. I have always told my students to start off with meandering loops and then to start connecting them with different elements such as hearts, flowers, stars, etc. And finally a book that has all that and more! Thank you so much for providing such a great resource!
My book arrived and its awesome!! What a great tool this will be for me to use. I also gave you a shout out on my blog today. Thanks so much for creating the book so that us Longarmers have inspiration and ideas to work from Lisa http://scrapsofthisandthat.blogspot.ca/
