Cube Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

Over the years I've machine quilted several quilts for Paula and I've shared several of them here with you. I've loved quilting her darling quilts. She has made a quilt special for each of her grand-children and now that they've started getting married she's making quilts for their spouses. I really love that Paula lets the grand-kids pick out the patterns and fabrics, so you know they'll love and cherish the quilts that she's made for them forever!

This beautiful quilt is another one of these special quils made by Paula and I had a lot of fun machine quilting this one!

This was the quilt before I started and machine quilting. I knew when I saw this quilt that it needed some fun custom machine quilting to really bring those cubes to life and give them even more dimension.

I used several thread colors and a combination of free-motion quilting and ruler work. I really love how this beautiful quilt turned out.
While I was working on this darling quilt I did film a few fun machine quilting videos
. I share a little peek into the quilting on this quilt over on my YouTube chanel and also a bit of a more in depth look over on Patreon.

  1. The quilting, as well as the quilt, is indeed beautiful. My friend Paula and I encourage each other as we turn out quilts for our family members. It is always fun to recognize one of her quilts on your website.
