Clementine Quilt Along - With Fat Quarter Shop

My friends over at Fat Quarter Shop are pretty awesome and have introduced their newest quilt-a-long, Clementine. This fun quilt-a-long will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I was able to custom machine quilt this fun quilt for Fat Quarter Shop and had so much fun quilting it.

Snapshots Quilt-Along: Block Four- Puppy Love

The last couple of months have just been crazy here. So, sadly, some things had to be put on the back-burner. My snapshots quilt along blocks were one of those things.

Back to School With Pam Kitty Love & Fat Quarter Shop

A few weeks back I machine quilted some darling quilts for my friends, Debbie & Kimberly from Fat Quarter Shop. Debbie & Kimberly made these quilts from Barbara Brackman's civil war sampler in bright and cheery Pam Kitty Love fabrics, it's fun to see how traditional blocks can seem so different with these bright cheery fabrics.

This first quilt belongs to Debbie, I love how she added in the black, I just love what it did for her quilt.

This is a close up of the custom machine quilting I did on Debbie's, it was fun to quilt, I always have fun machine quilting sampler type quilts.

This version is Kimberly's it's so pretty and soft. Love how this one turned out as well.

Here is a fun close up of the machine quilting on Kimberly's quilt, I kept it to a larger scale on her quilt to keep the quilt really soft.

If you missed out on Fat Quarter Shop's post yesterday you may just want to hop on over to their blog, I heard there is a give away going on, that has something to do with these darling quilts!

Have a great day!

Coming soon!!!

Yesterday was a great day! I was able to spend the whole day with my mom, Kimberly & Chelsey from Fat Quarter Shop!

First of all, when Kimberly asked me if she could come to my studio and film me in action I was beyond flattered! She's the owner of the Fat Quarter Shop!!!! :)
I should have taken more pictures during the day, but we were busy having fun! This is Chelsey getting ready to film me in action!
Kimberly posted a few other pictures throught the day on the Fat Quarter Shop's Facebook page.

We filmed a few different videos, and as soon as they are available I'll be sure to share!
Thanks for coming to visit my studio Kimberly & Chelsey!!!

Simply Fat Quarters ~ Spa Quilt ~

Hello there friends, welcome to my portion of the Simply Fat Quarters Showcase. If you're new to the showcase come along and check out the Fat Quarter Shop's brand new book, Simply Fat Quarters
The super talented girls over at Fat Quarter Shop and It's Sew Emma designed this darling book that features some fun quilts. Every quilt in this book is made from fat quarters.
I pieced and quilted one of the darling quilts from this book, Spa Quilt, for myself and I love how it turned out. :)
Above is the original version, very pretty in blues, below is my version. Of course it's brights, I love brights. :)
One of the awesome things about this book is every single pattern in the book contains layouts for four sizes, Crib, Lap, Twin and King. I made my version of the Spa Quilt in twin and I love it! It was actually a pretty simple quilt to make! :)
Of course I have to share a close up of my machine quilting. :)

Would you like to win a copy of Simply Fat Quarters and a kit to make my version of the Spa Quilt? Courtesy of Fat Quarter Shop. Leave a comment and tell me what your favorite size of quilt to make is. Baby, Twin, Full, Queen, or King?
Oh, and I almost forgot to tell you a little secret about this great book, do you see my name in the picture above, yes, I was lucky enough to machine quilt all of the darling quilts in this book! :) Yes, I'm still blushing :)
