Machine Quilting a Wool Applique Quilt - A Sue Spargo Pattern - With Natalia Bonner

 Hey friends! I'm loving this cute quilt. This quilt is a Sue Spargo, incredible hand applique quilt that was made by my client Jan.

I really enjoyed custom machine quilting this fun quilt. Quilts like this make me feel like I get to just doodle and draw, with thread, all over the quilt top.

9 Patchalong with Natalia Bonner

Let's get stitching!

Beginning September 1st, 2020!

Every Tuesday and Thursday we'll release a fun, new YouTube video tutorial for a total of 9 lessons.

These video lessons are free! Anyone with the ability to machine quilt using machine quilting rulers can join! The products listed below are optional companions to the 9 Patchalong.

What will you need?

Something to quilt on, Natalia will be quilting all of her designs on a custom 9 Patchalong panel, you can purchase a panel from Honest Fabric. Natalia will be stitching on the 51"x60" size in the Fall Foliage colorway.

If you prefer to piece your own top, we've got a 9 Patchalong Piecing workbook available for purchase here.

All 9 Patches are finished at 12" all bonus blocks are 4" blocks.

Batting?

Natalia will be using 1 layer of Quilters Dream Poly Deluxe Batting.

Rulers?

Natalia will occasionally use all five of here machine quilting rulers, however the focus in this stitch-along will be the mini 4-N-1 & mini Inside Out rulers.

Thread?

Natalia will use So Fine #401 on the top and Bottom Line #624 of the bobbin.
