Shout Color Catcher

Have you ever tried the Shout Color Catcher?

I have to be honest. I hadn't until just recently. I have been known to turn socks red and ruin all of my clothing, I'm really not the best with laundry (thankfully I have an awesome hubby who does it all :) Anyways, I have been given the opportunity to try out the Shout Color Catcher.

I pulled out one of my quilt that has never been washed. I have to tell you that I was honestly a little skeptical because I have always had great results when I have washed Moda fabrics and this quilt was all made with Moda fabrics. 

I pulled out one sheet.

The box says you can use 2-3 for new, dark or non-colofast materials. I chose to just use one since this is a baby quilt.

I put it in the washer with my regular HE (they work in both regular & HE washers) laundry soap and set it on the normal cycle.

The result:
Not a whole lot of color came out but some pink did bleed onto the Shout Color Catcher.

 I am impressed. Here I thought my quilts didn't bleed at all!

Small quilts and throws.

I've had fun quilting some smaller quilts and throws recently. 

Lisa made this cute little baby quilt. The person that she made it for doesn't know if they are having a boy or girl she she made it in these greens. I think it's really pretty.

Judy made this full throw. The little vintage dolls are so cute. She wanted custom quilting to make those dolls pop!

For all my Boise State fans!

Kathleen and I  has a lot of Boise State friends and family that I know will just love this quilt.

Simple Spring Table Runner {a free tutorial}

These quilts all belong to Ruth. She has been one busy lady!

I machine quilted each one of them for her and I think they turned out so fun!

I quilted some funky lines on both of the dinosaur quilts.

This one is a great scrappy quilt.

Last but not least, this little batik quilt.
