This fun friendship quilt is a Buggy Barn friendship quilt. We participated in a fun friendship group last fall and this is one of the other ladies quilts! Too cute!
We haven't had Piece N Share in a while and it's one of our favorite things! This is a favorite quilt! We've actually quilted quite a few quilts with this pattern called Bloom by Thimble Blossoms. So fun to see the variety in colors!
One of our favorite parts of being involved in a quilt guild is the Round Robin. We love to participate and be creative while sewing. The flag was the center block and we were inspired by the pattern Check Mate by Pieces from my heart. We turned the block sideways and added the checkerboard and the tan border. With this block we received the star. We then added the yellow, orange and yellow border. Don't you just love the variety in blocks.
We had a wonderful weekend! We were able to participate in National Quilt day in Heber City, UT. We had a fun time sharing our love of pre-cut fabrics with many other quilters. Our booth featured some of our pre-cut fabric quilts and we also revealed April's free quilt pattern. The quilt is called "Welcome Spring" and we used fabrics from the collection Soire'e by Lila Tueller for Moda fabrics.Have you signed up to receive our free pattern of the month? Sign up today and you will receive this pattern mid April plus a free pattern every month for one year!
This is one of the very first quilts that we made using pre-cut fabrics. The pattern is called Slide Show by Atkinson Designs and we used one Fresh Squeezed Layer Cake.
This is one of the fun quilts that we made out of pre-cut fabrics. This particular pattern calls for one Tranquility Charm Pack but we wanted it to be bigger so we used three Tranquility charm packs. There were a few extra pieces so we appliqued them on the back.
Then on Saturday we had the opportunity of sharing again at the Dixie Quilt Guild. They have a big group and it was fun to share with them! Thanks ladies for letting us share our love for pre-cut fabrics with you:)
We will be teaching a couple of classes this weekend on pre-cut fabrics! Our new favorite way to sew:) Just thought we'd share a sneak peak to our fellow quilters!
One cute table runner or two cute hot pads, get ready ladies!
We were just thinking today that we make all of these cute quilts for all of the holidays but we've never made a St. Patricks day quilt.... what's the deal with that?
