We Love Color ~ 16 Iconic Quilt Designers Create With Kona Solids

A while back I had the opportunity to machine quilt another darling quilt for Amy. I knew that this quilt was going to be in a Kona book but I never realized how cute the book would be.

This fun book compiled by Susanne Woods has 16 quilts all made from Kona (Robert Kaufman) Solids. I am totally amazed at the different styles and creativity that is in this book.

Amy designed and pieced Color Frames, it's a darling quilt and I love the pattern that the blocks create. 

I machine quilted this quilt for her, because it's so geometric I decided to play on that with the machine quilting. I quilted a very geometric maze type pattern and a lot of stitch-in-the ditch type quilting and I love how it turned out.
