How-to Machine Quilt Pebbles - A Video Tutorial

Hi quilty friends! I've been having so much fun making machine quilting videos lately that I thought I'd continue sharing them on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next several weeks.

This fun design that I'm sharing today is the Pebble design, this design is great for background fillers but could also be enlarged and quilted as an edge to edge type design.

My machine quilting is done on a Gammill 22" Long-Arm Quilting Machine.

  2. 10 years, every day! That means I've been following you from the very beginning. I've loved watching you succeed.
You make it look so easy, but You prove practice makes perfect! I love your blog, your beautiful quilting and your books. I've learned a lot of the basics, and unlike you, I'm quilting on a domestic machine. So instead of moving the needle/pencil I'm moving the whole quilt/paper.
But besides your excellence in perfect stitching, you have an amazing ability to see what pattern or quilting will make the quilt pop. I'd love a book or tutorials that help us learn how to decide what quilting patterns we should use. Thanks

  3. After a 25-year Hiatus from quilting, I'm back. I'm thrilled to see all the progress that has been made in the quilting field. I feel like a novice again and that's okay! Watching the Pebbles video I was struck by how long it would take me to hand-quilt it as opposed to machine quilt it. I think I'm hooked!
