How to: Machine Quilt a Pointed Oval Border - Featuring the 4-N-1 Machine Quilting Ruler

I'm a day late! I was planning to have this tutorial up yesterday. But, somehow time slipped by way faster than I had expected and I'm a day late getting this to you.

This fun border is a great simple pattern for any border, however I think it's best in a smaller type border. The border that I've quilted the design on in the video is about 3".

I know the video is slightly out of focus, I'm not a professional videographer. I'm just a crazy quilter. :)
You can purchase a 4-N-1 machine quilting ruler here.

My machine quilting is done on a Gammill 22" Long-Arm Quilting Machine.

  1. Looks like fun. I do all my quilting on a DSM. Would like to try a long arm someday. Your quilting is stupendous.
