Hugs & Kisses Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

Jan pieced this beautiful scrappy Hugs & Kisses quilt and sent it to me for some custom machine quilting. A few years back I actually custom machine quilted another version of this quilt, and Jan loved that quilt, so I quilted hers similar to that one. You can check it out here.

I custom machine quilted it with feathers and a bit of ruler work. I love the combination of the two styles. It's like modern meets traditional and they create a yummy look!

While I was custom machine quilting this fun quilt I did record a little video, I've got it posted over on YouTube today, so make sure to check it out, and subscribe to my YouTube channel. I've been having a lot of fun sharing videos of my machine quilting over there, every Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Thanks for letting me machine quilt your beautiful quilt Jan!

I used Quilters Dream Batting and SoFine! thread by Superior Threads.

My machine quilting is done on a Gammill 22" Long-Arm Quilting Machine.

  1. Wonderful. Thanks for the video Natalia, I was mesmerised watching you quilt and to see you doing it all so fast and with only one hand guiding the machine. True talent.

  2. Beautiful! I've made this quilt 3 times (it's a great quilt for a baby). Seeing what you did makes me glad I kept the pattern!
