Modern Baby Quilts - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner + Bonus Videos

I recently custom machine quilted a couple of darling baby quilts that were made by my friend/client MaryAnn!

MaryAnn made this darling quilts for a set of twin boys, they're not identical, so even though the quilts are identical MaryAnn let me custom machine quilt them differently, and I love how they turned out! I had a lot of fun machine quilting them.

On the first one I added this fun little triangle border, I created a fun little video while I was quilting this and shared it over on my YouTube channel, hop over there and check it out.

The videos that I share are not ment to be tutorials, they're totally just for fun, a way for me to share the actual process of machine quilting.

I also created a video sharing a few tips about machine quilting around a panel, and what I like to do to help bring the panel portions of the quilt to life.

On the second one I did a lot of straight line quilting, but as you can see I alternated directions with the straight lines on the blocks and this really helped create a fun element of interest on the quilt.

Thanks for letting me quilt these beautiful quilts MaryAnn!

I used Quilters Dream Batting and SoFine! thread you, can pick up thread an batting over on my website, www.piecenquilt.com

  1. I can’t wait for these to come home to me. My daughter will be here next week so she’ll get to see them in person before I send them off to her dear friend in NYC. Thank you for the beautiful work. Next up...Hubble in B & C! It’s done I just need to make the backing, I can’t put Tula’s Wide back on all my quilts..or can I?

  4. Thanks for sharing these information. Comfortable and versatile, these are one of the few modern chairs with arms that remain minimalistic in style.
