ReplyDeleteI love your quilt and tutorial over at the bake shop. the words are fabulous! I love words on fabric or made out of fabric.
Sorry I can't help you on the pranks for your husband...I'm not very creative in that area.
MGM
great giveaway! unfortunately/fortunately, i've never been the victim of a successful april fool's joke.
ReplyDeleteOoooh yes please - I would love to win the charm pack and make a mini Imagination Bloom! April's Fools...put salt in the sugar shaker - evil, I know!
ReplyDeleteMy inlaws were married on April Fool's Day 50 years ago. They had both been married before so they figured why not April Fool's Day for a second marriage.
ReplyDeleteFamily fun magazine (and website) has tons of faux food tricks. I've never done them, but they look fun.
Oh I love a good charm pack! What a great give away!

ReplyDeleteOh, I want to win!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great givaway, I was just admiring the quilt yesterday! Not sure what king of April fools joke you could play. He would already be expecting some kind of joke...lol
ReplyDeleteI'm not very good at pranks, although AZ is going to prank us tomorrow on April Fools Day with temps going down 30 degrees. I would love to win the Frolic charm pack.
ReplyDeleteLove that fabric and quilt. I enjoy making happy pieces, chases away the dreary rain we have been having.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
That is such a cute fabric group... thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt you made with this and this whole line, its beautiful!
ReplyDeleteProbably the most common joke is the pregnancy trick. We had our son the end of december so I was SO excited to fake a positive pregnancy test, I even had one of my friends that WAS pregnant give me a positive test. It was Hil-A-Rious!! Good Luck!!

ReplyDelete4/1 jokes....saran wrap over the toilet (under the seat, but over the bowl)... No wait..that will just mean you'll have to clean up the mess...never mind!
Freeze all his underwear. I've never done that, but I heard it's pretty funny!
Thanks for the chance to win a charm pack. I love ALL of your quilts. You are so creative.
ReplyDeleteI have no personal experience with pranks, but I came across this link and they have some great ideas.
http://somedaycrafts.blogspot.com/2010/03/who-are-you-going-to-fool.html
card stock in pancakes, chocolate covered cotton balls. (makes my teeth shudder to this day)this would be perfect, because you could say you were practicing for Easter treats, if you are not normally a person who makes home made chocolates. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm an avid follower and LOVE all your stuff. I have sent more people to your site than I can count. Your talent is amazing!
~a
Whhoooohoooo!! Love a good give away and this is certainly it!! Please throw my name into your give away hat!!

You will yell APRIL FOOLS and come out 'smelling like a winner' cause hubby will get his undies back! He will think you are WONDERFUL because you did the laundry after all!! Worked for me!! ha ha

ReplyDeleteI've been following but with your reminder...became an official follower...can I be a follow-et? Hee!!
ReplyDeleteYay - thanks for the chance! Congrats on the 500 followers.
ReplyDeleteIf I remember, I'm going to put a drop of food coloring in my husbands rice milk tonight. He uses it with cereal every morning. Hee,hee.
Great giveaway! Favorite prank... probably a computer related one. Like replacing someone's desktop icons with a screen shot of their desktop.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful quilt! Good choice on the fabric collection--even the name makes me smile! My parents, too, were married on April Fools Day. I think they took a lot of teasing about that! I've never been a practical joke person, so I can't help there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us have a chance to win this. Sorry I don't have a good april fool's joke.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a joker, but in college we put garlic on a few toothbrushes. Uggh.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! That is so nice of you. Love the new Moda Bake Shop quilt!
ReplyDeleteI am not good with jokes but here is one. Here in New Zealand a company uses a group of cartoon penguins as a promotional thing in their commercials showing the pengins installing under floor insulation. I have always wanted to ring the company and make a very large order of insulation on the grounds that I can hire the penguins to install the insulation under our house as we have very little ground clearance. Please count me in the draw.
ReplyDeleteYou are tempting me to break my fabric buying ban with this coupon... not nice, not nice at all.
ReplyDelete500 followers, that is a milestone indeed!
ReplyDeleteI like what my school is doing this week. Getting a letter out that the floor is getting re waxed today and no shoes are allowed in the school tomorrow. So the parents have to walk on socks and the kids need to take something for on there feet ;-) Imagine the school tomorrow morning.
Wow congrats on 500 followers! What a milestone. Thanks for entering me in your sweet giveaway.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your milestone. I hope you have many more to come. I would love the opportunity to win the charm pack.
ReplyDeleteAs for April Fool's jokes - sorry can't help you there. I can't think of a good one........
Oh man, that fake pregnancy prank - that's a mean one! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've got an april fools blog post planned!
Oh, that Frolic Charm Pack is darling! I'm not very good at pranks. Although, I'm going to do the pregnancy prank on my Mom and Mother-in-law. They know we have been trying for a while and I just may be able to pull it off.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about pranks - I usually forget it's April Fools until it's too late to do anything.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance at the charm pack. And I'm heading to your shop now! I think I already have things in the shopping cart!
I'm not very good a pulling off pranks...I start laughing right away. Your giveaway will really make me laugh for joy if I were lucky enough to win! Thanks for the chance at it.
ReplyDeleteI was just admiring that quilt this morning! Would love to win the charm pack. Don't have a favorite April Fool joke as we don't really "do" April Fool's day.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your big milestone! Yipee! I'm truly very happy for you.

Great charm pack. The colors are so cheerful. I just discovered your blog via the Moda Bake Shop and am enjoying all of the projects you have here.
ReplyDeletePick me... pick me.
ReplyDeleteLovin your new quilt on Moda. You should put it together in a kit and sell it- that would make my life easier.

ReplyDeleteSew up the opening in his underwear, and set that underwear on top so that he grabs it on April Fools Day.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the fabric!
Yay for giveaways!
ReplyDeleteAs for pranks:
*My mom would sew my dad's underwear shut while he was in the shower. He wouldn't notice until it was time to go to the bathroom later on in the day.
*They used to put the poppers under the toilet seats. (The kind from the 4th of July, that you throw on the ground).
*My mom used to short sheet our beds.
Good luck! And thanks for the giveaway!
500!!!
ReplyDeleteOh you popular thing you... ;)
You are so talented though, so you've earned it.
You have such a gift for design. Love your quilt. Love the charm pack.
ReplyDeleteMary
Congrats on reaching 500! I'm sure it'll be no time before you double that.
ReplyDeleteWow, 500 followers! So that means I have about a .2% chance of winning that charm pack.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the milestone, and thanks for the giveaway :)
My Dad loves to April Fools my Mother. You would think that after 40+ years she wouldn't be so easy to get, but....
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I would, no fooling, enjoy that charm pack. Looks like a baby quilt/spring throw to me. Thanks.
Oh how fun! Congrats to you for all your followers! Thanks for a chance to win, I LOVE your work! Have fun getting your hubby.

ReplyDeleteLove the Frolic and your blog! All of my April Fool's jokes have been mentioned--nothing new left!
ReplyDelete500!?!?!? thats crazy lots of people following you ... of course that's because you always have great things to say :) I am not an april fools kinda gal - sorry, can't help you out.
ReplyDeleteSince Frolic is my new fave collection, this charm pack would be a wonderful addition.
ReplyDeleteApril 1, 1997 is the day I went online. Seems like that was the internets joke on me. *L*
I have been wanting some Frolic! What a cute tutorial you made!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! Hope I can be your "April Fool!"
ReplyDeleteWow! 500?! Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteFor April Fools, fill his car with balloons. :)
Love the quilt you designed. I'm trying to decide which line to use to make this as I am suddenly madly in LOVE with hexes! :)
Love the Hexes! I would love to win the charm pack.
ReplyDeleteI am not much of an April Fool joker, sorry I can't help you with that.
One year at Boy Scout camp my son's troop and another troop were rivals in various sports events. One evening his troop invited the other troop to come to a campfire and put aside all the rivalry. As a special treat, they decided to hold a caramel apple eating contest. One of the leaders did the ready, set, go and all the boys began to chomp! Then they began to spit and shout! Our boys had made the other troop caramel covered onions!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing some Frolic goodness!
I'm crossing my fingers I get picked! I like to play practical jokes on people.
ReplyDeleteI love this fabric and your new quilt!
ReplyDeleteI don't like playing April Fools jokes since I hate when they are played back on ME!!!
SheilaC
Cover a roll of toilet paper with aluminum foil, then cover (thickly), with frosting. "Honey, I baked this cake just for you", and watch them try to cut it...
ReplyDeleteAHH I've been wanting some Frolic but have been too stingy to buy it! Such a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI was admiring your quilt form the frolic line yesterday. Oh, I really want this charm pack.
ReplyDeleteOh what a fun charm pack that looks like. I'm going to cross my fingers!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely giveaway! Crossing my fingers.
ReplyDeleteFavorite April Fool's Day prank for a man? Sew his y-fronts shut.
I'm so excited. I just bought some Authentic fabrics from your site. The perfect prints and perfect price to go with the fat quarter stack of them I got as a b-day gift last week.
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a prankster so I don't know any. I feel a bit lame saying that!
This year is very quiet (already the day). Guess with all time taking care of little people while their parents went off on an overnight errand.
ReplyDeleteI am not one for pulling pranks and either is my husband. I do have a friend who starts planning her pranks weeks before april 1st. One year she "stole" her husbands car from his work and had it detailed and waiting for him at home.
ReplyDeleteWe've never really done April Fool jokes. When the kids were growing up, they would try silly things though.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 500 followers!
This is a great quilt! So bright and inspiring. Thanks for the tutorial!
ReplyDeleteThanks for such a lovely giveaway. The charm pack is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe kids love to switch the bags in the cereal boxes for a April fools prank on their dad.
Unfortunately, I always forget that it is April Fool's day until I've sent my kids off to school, and then it seems too late to do anything. I'll have to get on the ball for next year!
ReplyDeleteHope I'm not too late to enter..... would love to win a charm pack!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance! I added food colouring to the milk this morning and it made my four-year-old cry! Good luck with whatever you decided to do for your husband!
ReplyDeleteI love a giveaway! But I don't love April Fool's pranks, so I don't have any to suggest. (Hope I'm still eligible to win!)
ReplyDeleteI love a giveaway! But I don't love April Fool's pranks, so I don't have any to suggest. (Hope I'm still eligible to win!)

What a fun charm pack, hope I'm not too late to enter your giveaway. Love your imagination bloom quilt at the Moda bake shop, it's adorable.
ReplyDeleteLove the new moda bakeshop tutorial! Who wouldn't want to win Frolic. I really don't love april fools jokes and can't remember any presently.
ReplyDeleteI just visted your blog, at the suggestion of Amy's Creative Side(a.k.a. Park City Girl).. and I'll add you to the list I'm following! No good APril Fool's stuff as of late, Great giveaway, thanks for offering. hilarybyma@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI want to win! I want to win! I just found your blog and the CUTEST quilt ever! I would love to make it and win the charm pack.
ReplyDeleteFavorite joke? Totally putting the rubber band around the sprayer on the sink.
ReplyDeleteAthough I'm usually the one who a) pulls the stunt, and then b) forgets about it and gets drenched.
I follow using google reader! I'm still not sure how following works, though, so you might not be able to see it... how do I change that?
