Double Wedding Ring Quilt - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner + Bonus Video

I recently custom machine quilted this fabulous Double Wedding Ring quilt for Ashley! I love this quilt, the Double Wedding ring has got to be the most classic wedding quilt and the color combination that Ashley chose for her quilt is just stunning!

Ashley asked me to machine quilt this fun quilt with some feathers and also add in her wedding date. Other than that she let me quilt it however I thought looked best.

I'm sure you all know how much I love heavy quilting, and ruler work, so of course some heavy quilting and ruler work was in store. I used a straight ruler on all of the grays and a curved ruler on all of the blues. In the centers of each of the blocks I did a bit of work with my Statler Stitcher. I could have free-motion quilted each of the feathers, but I wanted them to be exactly the same, so the Statler Stitcher was the perfect fit.
I had so much fun quilting this beautiful quilt, and of course I filmed a little video while I was quilting it.

  1. I must agree that this is the most stunning double wedding ring quilt I have ever seen. I love the way that you enhanced the color changes with a different pattern for the color.....really makes the whole quilt classy.
