I am not a runner. I am not athletic. But I decided to push myself and do something totally out of my comfort zone.
Early this year I signed up to run in the Salt Lake City Half Marathon. Way more than I've ever run in my life. I trained a lot but after getting sick and a few other things my training went down hill. Anyways... Saturday was the big day, I'm not going to say it was easy but I can say that I did it and for me that's what is important!

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!! I, also, have just entered a half-marathon. I am not a runner by any means... in fact, I always dreaded the day in P.E. in middle school when we had to run the timed mile. They put us through that torture once a month. Anywho, I'm running the Utah Valley half-marathon in June. Currently, I'm struggling with tendonitis in my foot so I hope I can do it! Sorry to ramble on your blog like that... Love your projects, btw!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I completed my first 1/2 marathon last October and 2nd one in February. Its tough but wonderfully feeling of accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
Congratulations! I'm training for a half marathon in June so i know exactly how much hard work it is.
