The Moda staff and designers have created a new challenge. The challenge is to piece, quilt and bind 100 quilts in 100 days. These quilts will be donated to soldiers who have been injured in Iraq and Afganastan.
It's a pretty easy challenge to take part in. All you have to do is make Just One Star.
Kathleen and I each made Just One Star and we'd like to invite you to make one as well.
I made a red star and Kathleen made a blue star.
Here is more information on the Just One Star challenge.

ReplyDeleteI just made one and I also sent out a challenge to my quilt guild to make one also. Great thing to be a part of! Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteI also made two stars and sent them in a few weeks ago. What a great cause.
ReplyDeleteNice ladies ! I sent some in a few weeks ago !
ReplyDeleteThe St Louis Modern Quilt guild issued the challenge and at our last meeting we had 28 turned in...
ReplyDeleteI made two and mailed them a few weeks ago. I had never made blocks like that {I'm new to quilting} but they sure turned out cute and I was happy to be a small part of such an awesome project.
ReplyDeleteYour stars turned out great! I made a couple a few weeks ago too. Today I received a thank you from Moda and a mini charm pack (2" squares maybe, I haven't check yet). I was surprised to see a package from Moda.
