Machine Quilting for Spring 2013 Quilt Market

Now that Spring Quilt Market is here I get to start sharing the awesome quilts that I had the opportunity to machine quilt. 


Today I'll start with one that I machine quilted for Moda Fabrics, this quilt is made from Moda Bella Solids, I love bella solids so this quilt was super fun to machine quilt.
This quilt is a pretty simple pattern, so I decided to really enhance the half square triangles  I love what the feathers created and added to this quilt.
I used Quilter Dream Wool batting, and it's just what it sounds like, a dream to quilt with, the little bit of loft that it creates is AWESOME!

    All I can say is WOW! Amazing quilting. I just got your book for Mother's Day, and I can only hope I can machine quilt half as well as you! Did you do all of this freehand? I have trouble with straight lines...even using a ruler can be tricky for me! Again...you are simply amazing!

    What color thread did you use on this quilt? It blends so well with all the fabric colors! Sometimes picking a thread color can be a challenge! I just love your work!
