Lissa pieced this gorgeous Pickledish quilt.
I seriously love it so much, the colors, the pattern, it's just awesome, some day I'll really play with curved piecing. :)
She sent it to me and asked me to custom machine quilt it for her. She told me I could do whatever I wanted, she just wanted Quilters Dream Wool batting. (It creates some beautiful texture.)
I had so much fun quilting this quilt, I love how it turned out. I sure hope Lissa loves it as much as I do. :)
I thought the quilt backing turned out pretty cool too, so I had to share a couple pictures.
Thanks for letting me machine quilt your beautiful quilt Lissa!
Both the quilting and the quilt are absolutely stunning. You two make a great pair!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! And, your quilting totally enhances the design. Awesome, as always!

ReplyDeleteI love what you did in the negative space. Beautiful work, Natalia!
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful job. I haven't gotten to curved piecing yet either!
ReplyDeleteAwesomely gorgeous piecing and quilting.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I love how you quilted it! I just finished my own double wedding ring and quilted it. I was thinking oh boy I hope no one ever brings me one of these because it took so LONG... You did awesome though and that was a smart idea to do the zig in the hoops, a very good option :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt and you did an amazing job with the quilting.
