Even though things have been a little crazy here the last few weeks I have been able to spend some time quilting some adorable quilts.
I can't believe that Christmas will soon be upon us and the Christmas quilts are just as adorable as ever. This fun quilt is called Gingerbread Village and I custom machine quilted this quilt this past week for my local quilt shop, Quilted Works.
I had so much fun custom machine quilting this quilt, adding little bits of detail to each of the houses in the village.
You can pick up a laser cut quilt kit for this quilt from Quilted Works, more details here.
I had fun machine quilting this quilt, I quilted a heavy background filler, full of pebbles, swirls and clams, and a few other patterns. You can find step by step directions for those patterns in my books; Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting and also Next Steps in Machine Quilting.
Oh Wow! I just love your quilting - not too dense, not too 'spacy' if that makes sense! I also love that the quilting is really perfect for the quilt top and just adds so much to it. I think you really did a wonderful job!!!
