Machine Quilting Feathers

Feathers are one of my very favorite things to quilt. I just love what they can do to a quilt. 

I finished machine quilting this beautiful quilt of Joann this morning. I love it.

Custom feathers and medallions.

Sometimes I just don't want to give quilts back to their owners.

The back turned out really pretty too!

Bee Block {for Amy}

So far this year I'm doing good at keeping on top of my bee blocks!

I received Amy's fabric in the mail yesterday and whipped out this fun block.

My mom just called - she was crying....

My mom (Kathleen) works full time in a Dr.'s office. She just called me from work and she was crying. It actually made me start to cry. Then she whispered..... I WON! Oh my gosh! This is amazing. Everyone who participated in the contest made some AMAZING quilts and for her to win this contest means more than you can imagine to her. 

For the Birds was her final entry.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported her.  She really needs to start her own blog so she can thank each and everyone of you.

Baby Boy Quilts

Mary Ann made these darling baby boy quilts and had me machine quilt them for her. 

My daughter just loved this Dr. Suess quilt.

She also made these two darling Monkey Boy quilts using my little tutorials :)

They all turned out super cute!

Machine Quilting {and a quilt with a cause}

Colleen made and I machine quilted this darling throw. She is going to add some flowers to that white section. I think it'll be so cute when she is done!

I machine quilted this darling Valentines Day wall hanging. Super cute and simple!

This pic turned out a little blurry, but...... My sister-in-law pieced this fun throw and I machine quilted it. It's going to be auctioned off at fundraiser for a local boy and his family next week. If you want to read a story that will just break your heart just read this article.  I am married into a family with 8 boys and they eat, sleep and drink wrestling. So you will understand why this quilt touched my heart.

The block will go all the way across the bottom section. So do not add this to your quilt until after week 5.
