Hope you're all having a great summer so far! This quilt, Peaches and Cream totally reminds me of summer time and makes me want to go eat peaches! YUM!
A large repeating block appears when you set four block together in this graphic quilt. The warm coral and gold fabrics draw the eye, while the soft blues add a restful frame in the background. White strips create a strong all over grid and modern vibe.
Peaches and Cream is another one of the 20 yummy quilt patterns from our new book; Cabin Fever: 20 Modern Log Cabin Quilts. This pattern is made from 12" blocks but when put together some giant almost gingham looking blocks come to life! I really love that about this quilt.
When we made this quilt we used the oh-so-gorgeous solids by Birch Fabrics, really they are pretty amazing to work with.
When it came time to machine quilt this quilt I decided to go with an all over pattern, I used our Bud Pantograph pattern, I really love how it turned out on this quilt.
