Butterfly Quilt - Edge to Edge Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

This is another one of the beautiful quilts that I was able to machine quilt just before Christmas. Deb made this beautiful Butterfly quilt and sent it to me for some edge to edge machine quilting.

Deb wanted to keep it soft and a bit frilly so we chose this fun edge to edge pattern. I just love how it turned out!

I love that the quilt is so simple and the butterflies are offset. It just makes me happy!
Thanks for letting me machine quilt this beautiful quilt Deb!

I used Quilters Dream Batting and So Fine! thread by Superior Threads.

My machine quilting is done on a Gammill 22" Long-Arm Quilting Machine.

  1. Beautiful quilt!! And your quilting certainly increases the beauty of these butterflies!! Just the right motif to suggest the happy swirling around of these wonderful creatures!

  3. Is there a name for the quilting pattern? I love the way it swirls around.

    1. The pattern is by Elizabeth Hartman and is called "Frances Firefly".

    2. Natalia - I think SJ Weigel was asking for the "quilting" portion of the quilt. I am interested in the name of the pantograph/computer pattern you used also. Thanks!
