Sweet Celebrations ~ Reunion Quilt

I'm so excited to share another little peek into the new Moda Bake Shop book, Sweet Celebrations with the Moda Bake Shop Chefs

This is my fun Reunion quilt. When I designed this quilt I designed it with my husbands family in mind, he comes from a very large family, he has 8 siblings and there are currently 32 grandchildren and a few great-grandchildren. :)
Yes, family parties are quite chaotic!
(nope, that's not any of us in the picture, but they sure are cute!)

My idea with this quilt is that some day I will have each person in the family sign one of the white "signature" spots on the quilt and then it'll become a gift for my in-laws, shh, don't tell them. :)
The quilt is a pretty simple to make, made from charm packs, it'd be super cute in any color scheme, and  the applique is done by machine. But if you're patient you could do it by hand.

I have a few signed copies of Sweet Celebrations available here.
