Quilted Works, one of my local quilt shops has got another adorable new quilt pattern and kit. I custom machine quilted this fun quilt for them and loved quilting it.
If you look closely you can see that I actually used two different background fillers, swirls and clams, both patterns are taught in my book; Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting. I like to alternate fillers and designs, usually when I do this I choose two or three designs. I like that it can add a tiny bit of detail, but does't take away from the quilt.
In all of the green border I machine quilted double pebbles, another pattern that I teach in my book; Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting. I chose to quilt straight vertical lines behind the flower border at the bottom, I really love straight lines.

That is a beautiful quilt and beautiful quilting.
