I recently finished custom machine quilting this fun quilt for Paula. I've shared several of her quilts for her grand-kids here before and today I've got another one. Paula lets her grand-kids pick a pattern and the fabrics and then she has been busy making each one of them a quilt. I know I say this every time I share her quilts, but I just love this! These quilts will be treasures forever!
This particular quilt is for one of her grandsons and she wanted the machine quilting to give it a wavy feel. So, we talked about it and decided that I would quilt an edge to edge wave through the center of the quilt and then swirls in the outer border and loops in the stop border.
The machine quilting really blends in the borders but on the backing it really pops and it's so pretty!
Thanks for letting me machine quilt your darling quilt Paula!

I love this quilt and the wavy quilting looks great through the centre and then the loops and swirls finish it off nicely.
ReplyDeleteGreat job. You have such an eye to make the quilting fit the quilt. Lucky boy!
