Sugar Cookie - Custom Machine Quilting by Natalia Bonner

Vanessa from Lella Boutique has just released a new pattern line along with her new fabric line, and the patterns are so cute. I was able to custom machine quilt this darling Sugar Pie quilt for her and had so much fun custom machine quilting it for her.

When Vanessa showed me this quilt I immediately knew that I really wanted to make the giant star the focal, but I also wanted to continue the look of the pieced half square triangle blocks into the large triangle blocks. 

The machine quilting turned out just as I had envisioned, and I love it!

Vanessa shared this fun little sneak peek over on instagram. I think the coloring in her photo is a little bit more true, it's gorgeous.
